Does Size Matter?
Question: What is the difference between an ocean and a sea?
AnswerMan: A puzzling question. Whenever sailors speak of "going to sea" or the "high seas," they are invariably talking about an ocean. It would seem safe to say that seas are smaller than oceans. Larger bodies of water, generally found inland and semi-detached from the nearest ocean, seem to be often called seas; except, of course, for the Great Lakes. Then, we've got "seas" -- North, South China and Arabian, just to name a few  -- that are completely attached to oceans.

Hmmm. The difference between the two terms could be the salt content of the named bodies of water. Why, you might then ask, does Utah have a Great Salt Lake, while Israel has an apparently smaller body of highly salty water called the Dead Sea?

Hmmm, again.  In short, there are no easy answers to your question, only more questions. I sincerely hope this has aided you with that geography term paper.

Another Day Older
Q:
I'm really seriously thinking of getting a home equity loan. What are the pros and cons? Can they really reduce your monthly overhead? Where is a good place to go? My credit union?
A:
Getting deeper in debt questions. The pros are those people who are paid for their sports abilities or, in some rare instances, their work. It's short for "professionals." The cons area those people currently serving time for their crimes against society. It's short for "convicts." Unless you are a business, you have no monthly overhead. A good place to go is Las Vegas. A credit union would be cheaper, but probably less entertaining.

Immortality Pill
Q:
Have you heard of Human Growth Hormone?
A: A cure-all question. Do I not receive spam? Would everyone who bites on this message could reduce body fat without dieting; build lean muscle without exercise; enhance sexual performance; remove wrinkles and cellulite; lower blood pressure; improve cholesterol profile; enhance sleep, vision and memory; restore hair color and growth; strengthen the immune system; increase energy and cardiac output; and turn back the biological time clock 10-20 years in 6 months of usage? Problem is, if the answers to all these questions is "yes," every HGH user would enjoy perfect health and unprecedented longevity. Our planet would shortly become unbearably overcrowded with exceptionally fit, highly attractive people. The horror.

Who Wants to be a Millionaire?
Q:
Do you have the yen to be a millionaire?
A: A question of currency. No, I do not. Even more tragically, I haven't the pounds sterling, deutschemarks or the plain, old American greenbacks to achieve that status. Well, maybe when the internet economy takes off...

Say What?
Q:
Do you like hot, horny women?
A: A trick question? Hey, even hot, horny women sometimes like hot, horny women. The real question is how much are they going to cost me?
